NARS Deep Throat has me deceased

Haha. What an interesting name! I was hoping that the product would live up to its lively name, and it sure did. NARS Deep Throat blush ($30) is my one of my new favourite blushes and it’s definitely a hit. I know, I know, I’m late to hop on the bandwagon for this iconic and popular product, however I don’t just follow along with trends, I buy things that I feel will work well with my skin texture and tone. I was browsing through Sephora for the second time this week looking for new products that I could add to my makeup collection (now I see why my friends think I have a makeup addiction). I came across the NARS gondola, NARS is one of my favourite makeup brands; their products are always top quality, and you really do get what you pay for! Deep Throt caught my eye and I decided to give it a go! I’m totally in love!! This is another product that is a total staple in anyone’s makeup collection.

NARS Deep Throat has a nice warm coral finish to it that looks great on all skin tones. It’s appropriate for day to night wear and looks nice on my slightly yellow undertone skin. It doesn’t give you that crazy “I just came back from my shift as a clown at the circus” look that some blushes can give you…which is my #1 pet peeve. If you plan on contouring, this blush diffuses nicely into your contour lines with ease. The smooth and blendable formula allows you to build up product onto your face so that you don’t overpower your look so easily. I’m a huge fan of this blush and I totally understand why everyone else is as well!! If you’re someone who likes to go natural, you can even wear this blush without heavy makeup, which will give you a nice and natural flushed look.

I really should start doing mini reviews on things I buy that aren’t so great! I’ve just been buying so many hits that I’ve been dying to share with you guys and I haven’t had the chance to get to the sucky products. If you’ve been searching for a blush that doesn’t give you the circus look definitely try NARS Deep Throat. I’m sure you’ll love it just as much as I do!
